“Regrowth”

“Regrowth” was made using recycled plywood, acrylic paint, and a wood-burning tool. When wildfires swept the states of Colorado, Oregon, and Washington, Athena retreated to her art studio in order to pour her emotion into creation. “Regrowth” symbolizes the future of our forests; a future where flora and fauna are abundant once again. As humans, we must make a conscious effort to do ALL in our power to prevent wildfires from sweeping our nation’s favorite places in fumes once again. With this piece, Athena reminds us to make smart choices when it comes to respecting the wild, and preventing forest fires. The size of “Regrowth”: 24 inches x 19 inches.
